About the Role
This is a full-time senior leadership position responsible for advancing Dallas Regional Chamber's brand, reputation, and market position. You'll lead a unified Communications, Marketing & Events team while reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure all initiatives reinforce our organizational mission and member value proposition.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy that strengthens brand positioning, member engagement, and organizational visibility across the Dallas region
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact member events, conferences, and networking programs that deepen relationships and generate revenue
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Communications, Marketing & Events team, establishing clear direction and accountability while building functional excellence
- Build and maintain thought leadership for the Chamber and its executives through strategic communications, media relations, digital initiatives, and compelling content
- Protect and enhance the Chamber's brand identity and reputation across all channels, ensuring consistent, authentic messaging
- Drive member acquisition and retention through targeted marketing campaigns, strategic positioning, and compelling value propositions
- Measure, report, and continuously optimize communications and marketing impact against organizational objectives
What We're Looking For
- Senior-level experience in communications, marketing, and event leadership—particularly within associations, chambers of commerce, or membership organizations
- Proven success developing integrated marketing and communications strategies that drive engagement and revenue growth
- Demonstrated expertise planning and executing large-scale events, conferences, and member programs
- Experience building and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic organizational environments
- Strong strategic communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders
- Proficiency with marketing technology, digital channels, and data analytics
- Strategic thinking that aligns communications with business objectives and bottom-line results
