With schedules centered around 6:45am–5:15pm and variable shift availability, you'll partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses to deliver safe, efficient surgical care for patients. What You'll Do Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and medical supplies in advance of procedures Maintain sterile fields and practice aseptic technique throughout surgical cases Assist surgical teams during operations, anticipating needs and providing responsive support Manage and organize surgical instrument and equipment inventory Follow infection control and patient safety protocols at all times Prepare operating rooms for cases and manage room cleanup between procedures What We're Looking For Current Surgical Technician certification (CSFA, CST, or equivalent credential) Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization methods Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a busy surgical environment Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to patient safety Excellent teamwork and communication skills with surgical team members Physical capability to stand for extended periods and manage surgical equipment About Centra Health Centra Health is dedicated to delivering excellent patient care across the Bedford community.
