Caritas of Austin is hiring a dedicated Supportive Housing Case Manager in Austin, Travis County, to walk alongside individuals who have experienced homelessness and help them build stable, lasting lives in permanent housing.
About the Role
As a full-time Supportive Housing Case Manager on the Client Services team, you will deliver permanent supportive housing services designed to help people move out of homelessness and remain securely housed. Reporting to the Supportive Housing Program Manager, this non-exempt position centers on hands-on, direct service that keeps housing stability at the heart of every interaction. This is an on-site role based in Austin, Travis County.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct case management to clients living in permanent supportive housing.
- Partner with each participant to set goals that strengthen long-term housing stability.
- Connect individuals who have experienced homelessness to the resources and services they need to thrive.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and follow up to ensure clients stay successfully housed.
- Coordinate with the Supportive Housing Program Manager and the broader Client Services team to deliver consistent, person-centered support.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to serving people who have experienced homelessness with dignity and respect.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills suited to direct service work.
- Ability to manage a caseload, track outcomes, and maintain accurate records.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Austin, Travis County.
