About the Role

As the Supply Chain Business Operations Manager, AI Strategy, you will sit at the intersection of operational planning, supply chain execution, and applied artificial intelligence. Based on-site in South San Francisco, you will translate ambitious AI initiatives into concrete operational outcomes, helping Zipline scale its autonomous delivery system across multiple continents with greater speed, accuracy, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive AI-focused strategy across supply chain and business operations, turning high-level goals into measurable execution plans.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify where automation, forecasting, and machine intelligence can strengthen logistics performance.
• Analyze operational data to surface insights, remove bottlenecks, and inform decisions about sourcing, fulfillment, and distribution.
• Build and refine processes that keep critical supplies flowing quickly and dependably to the communities Zipline serves.
• Track progress against key metrics and communicate results clearly to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain, business operations, or strategy roles, ideally within fast-scaling or technology-driven organizations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, or advanced analytics and how they apply to operational challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
• Comfortable operating on-site in South San Francisco, San Mateo County, in a hands-on, results-oriented environment.
