About the Role

As the Supervisor of Operations, Damage Prevention, you will oversee the day-to-day activities that protect Summit Utilities Inc's underground assets and the communities it serves. Based in Jonesboro, you will guide a team focused on preventing damage to utility infrastructure, coordinating locate operations, and championing a culture of safety across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team responsible for damage prevention and utility locate operations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing underground facility protection.
• Coordinate with contractors, excavators, and internal crews to reduce the risk of line strikes and service interruptions.
• Investigate damage incidents, document findings, and put corrective measures in place.
• Promote and enforce safety standards and best practices throughout field operations.
• Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across prevention programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, ideally within utilities, construction, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of damage prevention practices and underground utility operations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for managing teams and external stakeholders.
• Availability to work on-site in Jonesboro, Craighead County, in a full-time capacity.
