About This Position
As Facilities Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Leading a dedicated facilities team, you'll manage preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate vendor services, and enforce safety and compliance standards specific to healthcare operations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise facilities maintenance staff and daily work schedules
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure
- Coordinate vendor relationships for specialized repairs, inspections, and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state health, and local building codes throughout all facilities
- Monitor and manage facility budgets, capital expenditures, and maintenance contracts
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and coordinate emergency repairs
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions to protect occupants
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or trade certification preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or operations experience
- Proven leadership experience supervising a facilities or maintenance team
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance
- Familiarity with healthcare facility standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
