Superintendent – Industrial Projects

Gpac, a financially stable general contractor headquartered in Omaha, Douglas County, is hiring a full-time Superintendent to oversee industrial and light industrial construction projects from start to finish. About the Role

As Superintendent, you'll own field execution on assigned industrial projects. Your leadership ensures every phase meets our safety standards, schedule targets, and quality benchmarks. You'll coordinate multiple trades, manage resources, and maintain clear communication with ownership and subcontractors. This role offers the hands-on authority and accountability that experienced field leaders seek.

What You'll Do

• Direct all on-site activities, from mobilization through project closeout
• Enforce rigorous safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
• Develop and monitor project schedules; adjust tactics to keep work on track
• Inspect workmanship and materials; uphold quality standards at every stage
• Supervise and coordinate all trades and subcontractors
• Track budgets and project costs; report variances to management
• Conduct daily stand-ups and maintain accurate jobsite documentation
• Build strong client relationships and represent Gpac professionally

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent or Lead Supervisor on industrial or commercial projects
• Proven track record managing large, multi-trade jobsites
• Strong command of safety regulations, best practices, and incident prevention
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read plans, manage schedules, and track metrics
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to lead under pressure
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for jobsite requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management a plus)
