Little Locusts is recruiting experienced Subject Teachers for International Schools in China, a full-time opportunity based out of Fort Lauderdale for educators ready to relocate abroad and grow their teaching careers within established international curriculum systems.
About the Role
Working through the LaowaiCaree recruitment team on behalf of a China International School partner, this Subject Teacher position connects qualified international educators with classroom roles across China. If you are eager to teach overseas and bring a background in globally recognized curricula, this role offers access to a wide range of teaching placements. The position is full-time and on-site in China — it is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned subject lessons to students within an international school setting.
- Plan, prepare, and assess coursework according to the relevant international curriculum framework.
- Support students' academic progress and readiness for examinations and further study.
- Collaborate with fellow international faculty to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
- Relocate to China and adapt teaching practice to the host school's expectations.
Qualifications
- Teaching experience with one or more international curriculum systems, including A-Level, IB, AP, VCE, or BC.
- Subject expertise in areas currently in demand, such as economics and business.
- Willingness and eligibility to relocate to China for a full-time teaching post.
- A genuine interest in working within a multicultural, international school community.
