About the Role

As a Stagehand at Flagler Palm Coast High School, you will help bring performances, assemblies, and community events to life. Working behind the scenes in Palm Coast, you will keep every production running smoothly, safely, and on schedule for students, staff, and visiting audiences across Flagler County.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike stage equipment, scenery, and props for performances and school events.
• Assist with lighting, sound, and rigging tasks as directed by production and facility staff.
• Keep the backstage and auditorium areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Support rehearsals, student programs, and community functions held on campus.
• Handle equipment carefully and report any maintenance or safety concerns without delay.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on event needs.
• Comfortable lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods in a physically active role.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow direction in a fast-paced production setting.
• Completion of the required Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse process before hire.
