Sr Manager Brand & Category Marketing

Lead the strategy and execution of brand initiatives and category marketing programs for one of the world's largest professional beauty supply distributors. This is a full-time leadership role where you'll shape how beauty professionals discover and choose products across hair color, hair care, nails, and skin care.

About the Role

As Senior Manager of Brand & Category Marketing, you'll own the strategic direction of assigned product categories and brand portfolios. You'll develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, manage category performance, and drive consumer engagement across retail and professional channels. This role reports directly to senior marketing leadership and collaborates with sales, merchandising, supply chain, and product development teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement brand and category marketing strategies that drive market share, sales growth, and customer loyalty
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product positioning
• Lead the creation of marketing campaigns, promotional calendars, and product launches across digital, retail, and in-salon touchpoints
• Manage marketing budgets and measure campaign performance against KPIs and business objectives
• Build and mentor a team of marketing specialists and coordinators
• Partner with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with retail and distributor goals
• Monitor category trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to recommend strategy adjustments

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of brand marketing, category management, or related experience in beauty, retail, consumer goods, or professional distribution
• Proven leadership experience managing marketing teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience defining and tracking marketing metrics
• Experience developing integrated marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies
• Knowledge of beauty industry channels, products, and consumer trends (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
