About the Role
As a Senior A&P Inspector at our Savannah facility, you will perform detailed inspections of aircraft systems and structures during second shift (weekday nights, Monday through Thursday). This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a certificated mechanic who thrives in a hands-on, safety-first environment and wants to support the maintenance of large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components, systems, and workmanship to verify compliance and airworthiness.
- Document findings accurately and maintain clear inspection records using computer-based systems.
- Work safely from ladders, stands, and elevated positions throughout the inspection process.
- Enter and operate within confined spaces on an occasional basis as the task requires.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams during the second (night) shift to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Experience with Gulfstream large-cabin aircraft preferred.
- FlightSafety Initial training preferred but not required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work comfortably at heights.
- Capable of occasionally working in confined spaces.
- Proficient with computers for inspection documentation.
- Willing and available to work second shift, weekday nights (Monday–Thursday).
