Sr. Generations Construction Manager

About the Role

As Senior Generations Construction Manager, you will oversee end-to-end construction operations for power generation and energy infrastructure projects. You'll direct project teams, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, and ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations. This position combines technical construction expertise with strategic leadership, offering meaningful impact on large-scale energy initiatives in the Houston market and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Manage construction execution for power generation facilities and energy infrastructure projects from planning through completion
• Direct on-site construction teams, including superintendents, foremen, and trade contractors
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and on-time delivery
• Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with specifications and standards
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and client teams to resolve technical issues and maintain clear communication throughout project phases
• Develop and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement on all jobsites
• Manage procurement, subcontractor relationships, and logistics for materials and equipment

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of construction management experience, with significant background on power generation or large industrial projects
• Proven track record leading teams and delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with construction management software and digital tools
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience
