About the Role

As the Sr. Director, Architect - Research Franchises, you will define and steward the architectural vision behind Bose's research franchises. Working across global business units, you will translate long-range research ambitions into coherent technical strategies, guiding teams as the company moves into its next chapter of innovation and growth in Framingham, Middlesex County.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the overarching architecture and technical roadmap for Bose's portfolio of research franchises.
• Partner with leaders across multiple global business units to align research initiatives with strategic goals.
• Mentor and direct cross-functional engineering and research teams toward shared technical standards.
• Champion innovation, excellence, and disciplined execution throughout the research lifecycle.
• Identify emerging technologies and methods that can advance Bose's mission of leading through sound.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical architecture, research leadership, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven success directing complex, multi-team programs at a senior or director level.
• Strong ability to collaborate across global business units and bridge research with product strategy.
• A track record of driving innovation and translating vision into executable technical plans.
• Willingness to work on-site in Framingham, Middlesex County (this position is not remote).
