Applied Medical Technology is hiring a Senior Design Engineer to join our team at our Brecksville, Ohio facility, where you'll lead the innovation and development of advanced enteral medical devices in a growing organization.

About the Role

This full-time position is based in Brecksville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. You'll take ownership of medical device projects from concept through production, driving innovation in enteral technology while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead product development and design initiatives for enteral medical devices using advanced CAD and engineering tools
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to bring products to market successfully
  • Conduct design analysis, testing, and validation to meet all technical specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in design methodologies and best practices
  • Oversee multiple product development projects while supporting production operations
  • Identify and implement improvements to design and manufacturing processes

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in medical device design and product development
  • Proficiency with CAD software and 3D modeling platforms
  • Solid knowledge of FDA regulations, design control procedures, and medical device compliance
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to mentor engineering staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
