Sr. Database Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Database Administrator based in India.

This is a hands-on database operations and reliability-focused role responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of large-scale, enterprise database environments across development, QA, and production systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining high availability for business-critical data platforms while supporting a wide range of relational and NoSQL databases in both on-prem and cloud environments. The role involves day-to-day monitoring, incident response, performance tuning, and proactive maintenance to ensure optimal system health. You will also support AWS RDS environments and contribute to automation efforts that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload. Working closely with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams, you will help resolve complex cross-system issues and support database deployments and upgrades. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and quality-driven, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and operational discipline.
