About the Role

As the Sports Information Coordinator at Prestonwood Christian Academy, you will serve as the central voice for our athletics department, capturing game-day results, building media coverage, and celebrating student-athletes in a way that reflects our Christian mission. Based in Prestonwood, Collin County, this position blends sports communications, record-keeping, and relationship-building across our school community, churches, and the broader public.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, maintain, and report accurate team and individual statistics across athletic programs
• Write game recaps, press releases, and feature stories that highlight student-athlete achievements
• Coordinate media and public communications for home and away events
• Manage athletic content for school platforms, ensuring timely and consistent updates
• Support coaches, families, and administrators with information and promotional materials
• Represent the academy's faith-centered values in all athletic communications

Qualifications

• Wholehearted agreement with and support of the PCA doctrinal statement and Christian mission
• Personal characteristics that reflect a clear and growing Christian faith
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in statistics and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities during athletic seasons
