About the Role
We are seeking a Medical or Vascular ultrasound technician to become a part of our travel team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as a PRN contractor. Our patients are first responders/law enforcement enrolled in a cardiac wellness program with screening locations around the country.
Dates can be scheduled in advance for technicians looking for extra income or flexible PRN work. Projects range from a few days to a couple of weeks; request dates and locations of your choosing! Our teams work throughout the continental US.
What you’ll do
- Travel to location of screening
- Station setup/breakdown
- Patient check in
- Carotid screenings – CIMT (outpatient setting, no call)
- Maintain accurate EHR records
Required
- Previous experience with carotid ultrasound
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- BLS Certification
Preferred
- ARDMS Certification preferred
- Licensure in Oregon
- Ability to travel ~1 week/month
Compensation:
- Hourly rate of $50.00 per hour
- Travel day stipend
- All travel expenses paid for
