Job Description
Sucker Punch Productions, located in Bellevue, Washington is currently looking for a Senior Technical Combat Designer. This position involves collaborating with the Lead Combat Designer to develop combat systems, prototype and balance enemies and player abilities provide feedback, for concept iteration and contribute to game design. The requirements for this role include familiarity with Sucker Punch combat systems the ability to quickly prototype and iterate on designs, proficiency in C++ or similar programming languages communication skills and at 5 years of experience in gameplay programming or technical design. Candidates with experience in enemy designs or AI implementation, proficiency in Maya or other 3D modeling and animation software as knowledge of modern combat design will be considered favorably. This position is open to candidates to work in the United States or Canada. Can be performed on site, hybrid (partially remote) or fully remote depending on qualifications. The salary range, for this role varies based on the location of the candidate.
