Senior Station Manager

Amazon is hiring a full-time Senior Station Manager to lead operations at its Amazon Logistics Delivery Station in East Syracuse, Onondaga County, NY — a high-visibility leadership role at the heart of last-mile delivery for one of the world's largest logistics networks.

About the Role

As a Senior Station Manager at Amazon Logistics, you will hold full ownership of a Delivery Station — driving performance across budgetary planning, workforce development, and day-to-day operations. You will lead a multilayered management team including Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Shift Managers, setting the standard for operational excellence and people leadership at the East Syracuse facility.

What You'll Do

• Own all budgetary targets and operational KPIs for the Delivery Station, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising throughput or safety
• Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of Operations, Area, and Shift Managers, cultivating a strong leadership pipeline and succession bench
• Set performance expectations at every level of the station workforce, delivering continuous feedback and structured development plans to drive measurable improvement
• Champion a positive, inclusive employee relations environment that promotes engagement, reduces attrition, and supports frontline associates
• Monitor delivery metrics and station productivity data, identifying trends and implementing corrective action plans quickly
• Collaborate cross-functionally with transportation, HR, and network operations teams to meet Amazon's delivery commitments to customers across the region
• Maintain full compliance with safety protocols, labor standards, and Amazon operational policies

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record leading large, high-volume operations — logistics, distribution, supply chain, or a comparable fast-paced environment preferred
• Experience managing managers: you have built and developed multi-level leadership teams, not just individual contributors
• Strong command of operational and financial metrics, with the analytical ability to translate data into actionable decisions
• Demonstrated success fostering employee relations and building workplace culture at scale
• Excellent communication skills — equally effective presenting to senior stakeholders and coaching frontline managers on the floor
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment and drive process improvements under pressure
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant management experience
