About the Role

As Senior Specialist for Ortho Procurement, you will own category strategy, supplier management, and procurement operations for orthopedic products and services. This position combines tactical execution with strategic vendor development, requiring both operational excellence and business insight to drive value across our supply base.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for orthopedic categories, optimizing for cost, quality, compliance, and innovation
• Identify, evaluate, and partner with strategic suppliers to build sustainable, high-performing vendor relationships
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and product development teams
• Monitor supplier performance metrics, manage compliance obligations, and resolve quality and delivery issues
• Analyze market dynamics, cost drivers, and industry trends to identify optimization opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains across the orthopedic supply chain

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business, engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with preference for medical device, orthopedic, or life sciences backgrounds
• Proven expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and category strategy development
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality standards, and industry-specific requirements
• Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency with procurement platforms, data analysis tools, and business systems
• Strategic mindset with ability to balance immediate execution with long-term planning
