About the Role
As Senior Security Engineer, you'll take ownership of security priorities within your assigned engineering teams, conducting thorough reviews of system architecture, access patterns, and infrastructure security posture. This is a hands-on technical role that requires both deep security expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.
What You'll Do
- Conduct detailed vulnerability triage and risk assessments across assigned systems and projects
- Review and strengthen access control mechanisms and privilege escalation protections
- Evaluate identity and authentication frameworks for security gaps and weaknesses
- Assess container and cloud infrastructure security implementations
- Partner with engineering teams to develop and execute vulnerability remediation strategies
- Document security findings and provide technical hardening recommendations
- Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on security engineering experience
- Strong expertise in vulnerability assessment and risk management methodologies
- Deep knowledge of access control, identity management, and privilege escalation prevention
- Demonstrated experience securing containerized applications and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to communicate security findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with a strong track record of identifying and addressing security risks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
