TD SYNNEX, a Fortune 500 global technology leader, seeks a Senior SAP Business Intelligence Technical Lead to join our team in Germany (nationwide) (nationwide). This full-time position offers an opportunity to architect and optimise advanced business intelligence solutions for a 22,000-person organisation operating across more than 100 countries.

Role Overview

In this senior technical role, you'll serve as a key contributor responsible for designing, building, and enhancing SAP BI platforms that drive decision-making across the enterprise. Working alongside business stakeholders and IT teams, you'll translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. Your technical leadership will influence system architecture decisions and provide guidance to colleagues, with potential to transition into formal leadership roles as you advance.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and sustain SAP Business Intelligence solutions with emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Partner with business units and technical teams to capture requirements and convert them into robust technical implementations
• Assess current BI infrastructure and recommend strategic enhancements or modernisation initiatives
• Lead planning and prioritisation efforts for business intelligence projects and initiatives across the organisation
• Monitor and optimise BI platform health, performance metrics, and system uptime
• Mentor and advise junior technical staff and team members on technical approaches and best practices
• Collaborate across functions to ensure BI solutions integrate seamlessly with enterprise IT infrastructure
• Champion emerging technologies, including AI-driven analytics and process automation opportunities within the data space

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in SAP Business Intelligence or data platform environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline
• Deep expertise in SAP BW on HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP ABAP, SQL, Business Objects, and Microsoft Power BI
• Familiarity with AI and automation concepts applied to data and analytics (preferred)
• Comprehensive knowledge of ERP systems and distributed computing architectures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to work autonomously in demanding technical environments
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and shape technical decisions across organisational boundaries
