Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform.
This is a 12 month FTC contract role with a possibility of a conversion.
Responsibilities
- Development & Customization: Create and customize Salesforce applications, modules, and components.
- Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications.
- Apex & Visualforce: Utilize Apex programming and Visualforce pages for building complex business logic.
- LWC Development: Design and develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for responsive user interfaces.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing of solutions and efficiently deploy to production environments.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for development processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Certifications: Salesforce Developer Certification (Salesforce Platform Developer I), Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Data Cloud
- Proven experience with Salesforce development and customization.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of data modeling and management within Salesforce.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in:
- Apex
- Visualforce
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Flow
- Process Builder
- Validation Rules
- Custom Objects and Fields
- Trigger development
- REST/SOAP API integrations
- Extensive experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies would be highly desirable
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Copado, Gearset) would be a great addition
