Position Summary

In this full-time Senior Analyst Developer - Salesforce | Kaiwhakawhanake Tātari Matua - Salesforc role with New Zealand Government you will blend deep technical capability and analytical insight to extend the Salesforce platform. The position supports the creation of reliable applications and insights that help decision-makers improve services for people living in Aotearoa today and into the future. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assess business and user needs then convert them into clear Salesforce solution designs and technical specifications
• Build, configure and refine Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and standard configuration tools
• Integrate Salesforce with surrounding systems and data sources while applying secure coding and platform governance standards
• Conduct unit testing, assist network and peer reviews, and support controlled deployments across environments
• Produce concise documentation, guide colleagues on platform best practice and contribute to continuous refinement of development processes
• Monitor system health, resolve production issues promptly and identify opportunities to enhance performance and usability

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated senior-level experience developing and analysing solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Solid command of Apex, SOQL, Lightning development approaches and declarative automation features
• Ability to balance analytical thinking with strong coding practice and a focus on scalable, secure architecture
• Clear verbal and written communication skills suited to working with stakeholders in a public-sector setting
• Experience collaborating within agile teams and mentoring less-experienced developers as needed
• Willingness to apply your expertise onsite in Wellington, Greater Wellington while contributing to reliable national services
