Dragos is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in the United States (nationwide) (nationwide) to power the automation behind world-class ICS/OT cybersecurity, helping defend the industrial systems that keep modern life running.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Dragos, you'll join the Vulnerability Analysis content team and become the engineering force that speeds vulnerability findings into the hands of customers. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with vulnerability analysts, you'll architect and own the CI/CD pipelines that drive how analysis is reviewed, validated, and shipped — ensuring accurate, timely intelligence reaches the operational technology (OT) environments that depend on it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and refine CI/CD pipelines covering content review, validation, and deployment across vulnerability analysis, asset catalogs, and report generation.
  • Create analyst-facing tooling and workflow improvements that streamline how vulnerability content is produced and published.
  • Embed automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate vulnerability content.
  • Engineer data validation, schema enforcement, and quality-assurance automation that keeps findings consistent and accurate.
  • Partner with analysts to remove friction and automate repetitive steps across the content lifecycle.
  • Integrate vulnerability content delivery into wider Dragos systems alongside other engineering teams.
  • Coach junior engineers, champion best practices, and keep raising both deployment velocity and content quality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years building production software, including 2+ years working in Python.
  • 1+ years designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools).
  • Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • A track record of building developer tooling and automation that boosts team productivity.
  • Strong command of git workflows, branching strategies, and large-scale code review, plus solid Linux administration skills.
  • Clear communication that bridges technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Nice to have: security content delivery, ICS/OT exposure, Rust, observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), or a background in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or security operations.

About Dragos

Dragos is the market leader in ICS/OT cybersecurity, equipping industrial organizations with leading technology, threat intelligence, and services. Guided by core values of authenticity, transparency, and trust, the team is driven by a mission to protect the infrastructure civilization relies on. Compensation includes a $165,000 salary, a competitive equity package, and a comprehensive benefits plan. Dragos is an Equal Opportunity Employer; all new hires must pass a background check.
