You will be:

  • designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Python and Node.js,
  • building APIs and microservices supporting business-critical applications,
  • contributing to architecture decisions and promoting engineering best practices,
  • working with cloud-native solutions and distributed systems in Azure environments,
  • developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes,
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions,
  • leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve engineering efficiency and software delivery.

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development,
  • strong hands-on experience with Python and Node.js,
  • experience building APIs and backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar,
  • solid understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices, DDD, or hexagonal architecture,
  • experience with Azure DevOps,
  • hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform,
  • experience working with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Azure SQL, Redis),
  • familiarity with messaging and event-driven architectures (e.g. Redis, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub),
  • understanding of authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect,
  • experience with automated testing, code quality, and software security practices,
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within international teams,
  • practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
  • good command of English (min. B2).
  • Work from Poland and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

  • experience with TypeScript and modern frontend technologies such as React,
  • familiarity with Databricks, Pandas, or NumPy for data processing workloads,
  • experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Azure Monitor, or Application Insights,
  • knowledge of Go or C++,
  • experience working in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP),
  • experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,
  • interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
