Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder – Water/Wastewater

Kimley-Horn seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to help grow its Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice in Panama City Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on building, managing, and expanding multidisciplinary project teams across the water and wastewater sector.

What This Role Involves

In this position, you'll serve as a strategic leader tasked with developing and scaling the firm's water/wastewater practice. You'll oversee complex engineering and infrastructure projects while recruiting and mentoring team members, driving practice growth through technical excellence and strong client relationships.

Core Duties

• Manage multidisciplinary project teams delivering water and wastewater treatment solutions
• Direct large-scale conveyance and water distribution system projects
• Lead water and wastewater pumping system design and implementation initiatives
• Develop and mentor practice staff, building technical depth and team capability
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the water/wastewater utilities sector
• Ensure project delivery meets technical, schedule, and financial objectives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing large, complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Track record of building and leading engineering teams
• Deep understanding of water treatment, wastewater systems, conveyance design, and pumping systems
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical delivery with business development
• Project management expertise and relevant technical credentials
• Commitment to mentoring and developing junior engineering staff
