WSP USA is hiring a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead our Power & Energy Management division from our Syracuse office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to direct complex energy infrastructure projects while building and mentoring a skilled project management team.
About the Role
You'll oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of power delivery initiatives, ensuring projects meet WSP's quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations. As a senior leader, you'll champion our mission and culture while driving projects to successful completion in the energy sector.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily operations and supervise project management staff to deliver quality results aligned with company values
- Lead project teams through planning, execution, and closeout phases for power delivery assignments
- Own project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management across all initiatives
- Model professional leadership and commitment to WSP's workplace culture and standards
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders throughout project cycles
- Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure consistent, reliable deliverables
- Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience managing power delivery, electrical, or energy infrastructure projects
- Proven success leading and developing project management teams
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and industry standards
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credentials preferred
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, client-focused environments
