About the Role
As a Senior Master Automotive Technician with Nelson Ford of Grand Forks, you'll be the go-to specialist for complex repairs and advanced diagnostics. This full-time position rewards proven expertise with a strong compensation package, and it does involve relocation to the state of North Dakota. Pay ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 annually, with retail flag hours paid on warranty repairs as required by North Dakota state law.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicle systems with precision and efficiency
- Perform advanced mechanical and electrical work across a wide range of makes and models
- Complete warranty repairs accurately and document work to manufacturer standards
- Mentor junior technicians and serve as a technical resource for the service team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Master-level automotive technician certification and significant hands-on experience
- Deep knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to relocate to North Dakota for this role
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000–$150,000 annual pay scale
- $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation support, paid over the first three months
- Up to six months of housing assistance (as much as $1,200 per month)
- Health insurance effective on your first day of employment
- 120 hours of PTO effective on your first day of employment
