Nexgen Enterprises is hiring a Senior Land Surveyor in Fort Myers, Florida to lead survey operations and drive quality across a growing practice. We're a forward-thinking surveying firm serving Florida's most active real estate markets, and we're looking for a licensed Florida Professional Land Surveyor to own project delivery and mentor our team.
About the Role
This full-time position is based in Fort Myers and offers the opportunity to lead complex survey projects while building capabilities within our organization. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, managing every phase of surveying operations—from fieldwork coordination through final client delivery. You'll partner with developers, real estate professionals, engineers, and internal teams to ensure every survey meets the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Direct survey fieldwork and manage projects from initial scope through completion and client handoff
- Maintain rigorous quality control over all survey data, calculations, and final deliverables
- Guide and develop junior survey staff, building skills and professional standards across the team
- Review technical findings and survey methodologies to ensure compliance with Florida regulations and industry best practices
- Communicate directly with clients, stakeholders, and project partners to clarify scope and deliver results
What We're Looking For
- Current Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Proven experience managing land survey projects and teams
- Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities
- Hands-on expertise with surveying technology, GPS systems, and industry software platforms
- Thorough understanding of Florida surveying standards, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent client communication and project management skills
