Senior Engineer – AI Native Products

What You’ll Do

This is an opportunity to make a real impact: You’ll work independently, taking full ownership of complex, end-to-end challenges from initial scoping all the way to production.

• Own end-to-end development of complex features from ideation to production: architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Make independent tradeoff decisions, balancing speed, scale, maintainability, and user value
• Use AI tools including Claude Code, ChatGPT, and others as a natural part of your daily workflow: for coding, debugging, drafting, and problem-solving, not as a side experiment but as a real productivity multiplier
• Actively explore and advocate for better ways to work whether that’s a new AI tool, a smarter workflow, or a technique that saves your team an hour a week
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to align on priorities, timelines, and technical solutions
• Work through ambiguity by framing constraints, narrowing options, and proposing actionable solutions
• Deliver clear technical outcomes and help translate them into measurable business impact

Basic Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, primarily in Node.js or Java
• Proven experience shipping features in SaaS or product-led environments, including prioritization, tradeoffs, and iteration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Strong ownership mindset: ability to identify opportunities, drive solutions, and close the loop

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, to meaningfully accelerate your development workflow
• Experience with TypeScript
• Frontend experience with a framework such as Angular (preferred), React, or Vue
• Experience working in a NoSQL database such as MongoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker deployment
• Experience with Loveable
• Experience with logging services such as Datadog or Splunk
