We’re growing fast and looking for an AI-First Backend Engineer to join our Core Team and play a key role in building high-performance systems and scaling our core product architecture. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Security Research teams, helping us deliver deep security value at scale. Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend infrastructure for our core security platform.
- Drive architecture and scalability enhancements to support high-throughput cloud runtime data and AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and security researchers to translate complex security requirements into elegant code.
- Implement robust data pipelines and optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery, from initial design and development through to production deployment.
- Help us continuously improve engineering practices by introducing smart automation, robust testing, and clean code methodologies.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in backend software engineering within a fast-paced product company or startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python – deep understanding of its ecosystem, frameworks, and asynchronous programming.
- Polyglot Mindset – Proven experience working with at least two different programming languages in production environments, demonstrating deep technical agility.
- AI-First Approach – Active and proficient use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLMs) to streamline coding practices, accelerate learning curves, and optimize workflows.
- Solid foundations in software design patterns, data structures, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as part of a global, distributed team.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience in the cybersecurity, SaaS, or Cloud Security domain.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud environments (AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
