We're looking for an experienced data engineer to build and optimize the data infrastructure that powers our marketing analytics capabilities. About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer on our marketing analytics team, you'll design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and warehouse infrastructure that enable data-driven marketing decisions across our organization. You'll collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to translate analytics requirements into scalable data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Architect and implement data pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve marketing data at scale
- Optimize database and data warehouse performance to support analytics and reporting workloads
- Partner with analytics teams to design data models that unlock insights from business data
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for data infrastructure reliability
- Document data systems and mentor junior engineers on best practices for data engineering
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve data platform capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, with proven expertise in SQL, distributed data processing, and cloud platforms
- Strong background building and managing data warehouses or data lakes in production environments
- Proficiency with modern data engineering tools and languages (Python, Scala, or equivalent)
- Experience designing schemas, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with marketing analytics workflows, metrics, and business applications
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
