Massive Rocket is a rapidly scaling Braze and Snowflake agency on a mission to transform how digital marketing, product, and engineering teams connect. The Senior Data Engineer will lead the charge in crafting innovative, high-performance data solutions on Snowflake’s cloud platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of working as Snowflake Developer or in a similar role
  • 6+ years of experience in SQL and data modeling and ETL processes
  • 2+ years of experience of working with Python
  • Experience of working with DBT
  • Experience with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Snowflake Data Sharing, and Snowflake Secure Data Sharing
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data integration tools
  • Proven ability in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity in day-to-day professional tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in an agency setting or experience working with external clients
  • English C1
  • Preferred: Snowflake certification, experience with other data warehousing solutions, knowledge of data visualization tools, understanding of data governance and security best practices, experience working in Scrum
