The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Quality & Regulatory Matters, BCA to join its legal team on-site in International, King County. In this senior in-house role, you will provide strategic legal guidance on quality assurance and aviation regulatory matters that support Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
About the Role
As Senior Counsel, Quality & Regulatory Matters, BCA, you will partner with business and engineering leaders to navigate the complex regulatory landscape governing commercial aviation. This full-time, on-site position is based at Boeing's facility in International, King County, and offers meaningful opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative legal organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise internal stakeholders on quality, compliance, and aviation regulatory issues affecting Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA).
- Interpret and apply applicable laws, regulations, and agency requirements to support sound business decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, engineering, and operations teams to identify and manage legal risk.
- Support engagement and correspondence with regulatory authorities on matters of compliance and quality assurance.
- Help shape policies and processes that uphold Boeing's commitment to safety and regulatory excellence.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
- Substantial legal experience, ideally with exposure to regulatory, compliance, or quality matters.
- Familiarity with aviation or aerospace regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
- Proven ability to work effectively across functions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
