About the Role

As the Senior Contracts Manager at Karman Space & Defense, you will own a diverse mix of intricate government and commercial agreements from cradle to grave. Reporting to the Director of Contracts, you will act as the in-house authority on contract administration and compliance while mentoring less-experienced team members and partnering with stakeholders across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a broad portfolio of complex government and commercial contracts throughout their full lifecycle.
• Provide expert guidance on contract administration, compliance, and risk matters as a recognized subject matter expert.
• Supervise, coach, and develop junior contracts staff to strengthen the wider Contracts function.
• Collaborate across markets and functions to align contractual approaches with business goals.
• Support negotiation, interpretation, and ongoing management of terms, conditions, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience administering complex government and commercial contracts, ideally within aerospace or defense.
• Strong working knowledge of contract compliance, regulations, and administration best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise contracts personnel.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management skills across multiple markets.
