About the Role
Delaware North is hiring a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua. In this full-time position, you'll be the visible guardian of our facility, balancing security vigilance with genuine guest service. Working across our gaming floor and throughout the casino, you'll make a tangible difference in how guests and employees experience our venue every day.
What You'll Do
- Monitor gaming floors, entrances, and key locations throughout the casino to prevent unauthorized access and detect safety concerns
- Respond promptly to security incidents and guest concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence in the facility
- Assist guests with directions, information, and immediate requests in a warm, professional manner
- Collaborate with your security team and other departments to maintain safe operations
- Document and report security observations through established procedures
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine service orientation
- Alert, observant demeanor with the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to stand for extended shifts and respond to emergencies
- Respect for diverse guests and team members from all backgrounds
- Commitment to working full-time including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior security, hospitality, or law enforcement experience preferred
