Seasonal Groundskeeper (Golf)

Join the City of Clarksville in Montgomery County as a Seasonal Groundskeeper at one of our municipal golf facilities. This full-time seasonal position offers hands-on grounds maintenance work and the opportunity to develop practical skills in landscape care and facility management.

About the Role

As a Seasonal Groundskeeper for City of Clarksville's golf operations, you'll perform essential maintenance and grounds care work under direct supervision. This seasonal position may be assigned to either of our Clarksville golf courses based on operational needs. The role focuses on entry-level and foundational maintenance tasks critical to keeping our facilities playable and attractive for golfers and the community.

What You'll Do

• Assist with landscape maintenance, mowing, and grounds preparation
• Gather, organize, and transport equipment and supplies for daily operations
• Perform general labor tasks including site cleanup and equipment maintenance
• Help maintain course grounds, pathways, tee boxes, and facility areas
• Support the grounds team with routine repair work and upkeep
• Keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean and properly stored

What We're Looking For

• Ability to perform manual labor and follow supervisor instructions reliably
• Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to learn grounds maintenance and landscaping practices
• Strong work ethic and dependability
• Basic equipment handling skills or eagerness to develop them
