About the Role
As a School Bus Delivery Driver with NY Bus Sales, you'll be responsible for transporting newly sold and serviced school buses safely to their destinations. This part-time, daytime position is ideal for licensed drivers who value dependable scheduling and a hands-on role within a respected dealership. We have immediate openings supporting our established Rochester, NY location as well as our soon-to-open facility in Batavia, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive school buses safely and responsibly to designated delivery locations
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm each vehicle is road-ready
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety standards while operating buses
- Coordinate delivery timing and logistics with the dealership team
- Represent NY Bus Sales professionally during every delivery
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license with the appropriate commercial endorsements required to operate a school bus
- A clean, safety-focused driving record
- Reliability and availability for daytime, part-time hours
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe vehicle operation
- Ability to work independently while following delivery schedules
