About the Role
As a Sandwich Maker at Melbas Poboys, you'll be the craftsperson behind the counter, assembling fresh, flavorful sandwiches that keep our customers coming back. You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen environment where precision, cleanliness, and speed matter equally. Your role is essential to delivering the quality and consistency our guests expect every time they visit.
What You'll Do
- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to ticket orders and recipes
- Work efficiently during peak service times while maintaining order accuracy and portion control
- Keep your workspace organized, sanitized, and stocked with fresh ingredients throughout your shift
- Deliver friendly, responsive customer service interactions at the counter and kitchen window
- Follow food safety and restaurant protocols consistently
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in food preparation
- Ability to listen carefully to orders and follow instructions from managers
- Self-driven work ethic and willingness to take on responsibility
- Ambition to grow within the hospitality and food service industry
- Physical ability to stand, move, and work in a warm kitchen environment
- Experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is a plus but not required
