Sales Team Manager

Belk is seeking a Sales Team Manager for our Savannah, Chatham County location to lead our sales associates and drive store performance through strategic team development and exceptional customer service execution.

About the Role

As Sales Team Manager at Belk in Savannah, you will own the end-to-end management of your sales team, directly impacting store revenue and profitability. This full-time position combines hands-on leadership with strategic store operations, requiring you to inspire associates, execute merchandising initiatives, and create a shopping environment that keeps customers returning. You'll partner closely with your store leadership team to align on sales targets, inventory strategy, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales associates, focusing on building consultative selling skills and product knowledge
• Drive measurable sales results and key performance indicators through effective team performance management and individual coaching
• Plan, coordinate, and execute seasonal sales events, promotions, and in-store experiences that build customer loyalty
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness that reflect Belk's brand and enhance the shopping experience
• Train team members on customer service excellence, point-of-sale systems, and company policies
• Collaborate with store management to forecast staffing needs, optimize scheduling, and manage payroll
• Monitor inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and compliance with store standards
