Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator is an energetic individual with a passion for sales and customer service as well as superior organization, computer, and property systems management skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete contracts, addendums, and proposals with accuracy.
• Timely and professional communication with clients.
• Coordinate with Sales Managers to execute group booking accordingly in appropriate systems. Any additional group changes will be updated by the sales coordinator.
• Set up accurate billing for each individual group.
• Enter pertinent information into Sales, POS and Event Management systems.
• Regularly assists in booking individual reservations that fall into special rate categories.
• Run group reports through our sales system.
• Continually maintain group bookings in property systems.

Administrative duties:

• Typing, answering telephones, sending correspondence, etc. (as required)
• Taking leads both over the phone and email, then processing in our sales system.
• Act as a lead catcher for RFPs.
• Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE’RE SEEKING:

• 2 years of experience in hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office.
• Well organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication skills and passion for creating ridiculously personable experiences for guests.
• Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
• This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary range: $14.00 USD – $16.00 USD per hour, plus gratuities
