About the Role
As a Sales Associate at Goodwill Northern New England in Augusta, Kennebec County, you'll be the welcoming face of our store, managing customer transactions and ensuring every shopper has an excellent experience. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with pay between $15.25 and $17.00 per hour, depending on experience. You'll work primarily in our customer-facing areas, where your personality and service skills make a real difference.
What You'll Do
- Operate the point-of-sale register with accuracy and efficiency
- Greet customers warmly and engage in helpful conversations about products and services
- Assist customers in locating items and provide product information
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Process transactions including sales, returns, and inquiries
- Build relationships with regular customers and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere
- Support store operations and team initiatives as needed
