Safety and Security Manager

Alamance Foods is seeking an experienced Safety and Security Manager to lead protective and compliance programs at our Swepsonville facility in Alamance County. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a safety-minded professional who thrives on building a culture where every team member goes home safe.

About the Role

As the Safety and Security Manager at Alamance Foods, you will own the day-to-day direction of workplace safety and facility security across our Swepsonville, Alamance County operation. You will partner with leadership and frontline teams to keep people, products, and property protected while supporting a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Oversee facility security operations to safeguard employees, visitors, equipment, and inventory.
• Conduct routine inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and correct hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and readiness across the site.
• Track safety metrics and report performance to leadership to support a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in occupational safety, security management, or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform inspections and respond to incidents in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable working on-site full-time in Swepsonville, Alamance County.
