About the Role

This is a territory-based sales position focused on building and closing new business for a leading SaaS HR and payroll platform. You'll spend your time in the field developing relationships with company decision-makers, identifying their payroll and HR operational challenges, and demonstrating how modern cloud software can streamline administrative processes and reduce operational overhead.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and qualify small to mid-sized businesses within your Minneapolis–Hennepl County sales territory
• Conduct discovery meetings and product demonstrations tailored to client needs in payroll processing and HR management
• Develop and present detailed solution proposals addressing specific client pain points
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and deal closure
• Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecast accountability
• Serve as the primary client contact during onboarding to ensure successful product adoption
• Build and leverage your understanding of competitive solutions and industry trends

What We're Looking For

• Proven outside sales experience in SaaS, enterprise software, HR technology, payroll, or related B2B services
• Track record of territory ownership and consistent quota achievement
• Consultative selling approach with strong discovery and needs analysis skills
• Comfort with prospecting via cold outreach, in-person meetings, and relationship building
• Self-directed work ethic; ability to manage your own time, pipeline, and territory independently
• Knowledge of payroll, HR operations, or business processes—or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
