Lancesoft INC is recruiting a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join our behavioral health team in Onawa, Monona County. This full-time clinical position offers a meaningful opportunity to deliver mental health services to individuals and families seeking professional support and treatment.
About the Role
You'll work as a clinical social worker within our organization, providing direct mental health intervention and therapeutic services. Based in Onawa, you'll see clients Monday through Friday, conducting clinical assessments, delivering psychotherapy, and collaborating with colleagues to advance each person's mental health and wellbeing. This role draws on your expertise in behavioral health to make a real difference in the Monona County community.
What You'll Do
- Conduct initial client assessments and comprehensive mental health evaluations
- Provide individual therapy and family counseling services
- Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs
- Document clinical progress, maintain case records, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Work collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, and other clinical professionals
- Monitor outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches based on client response
- Support crisis intervention and client safety planning when needed
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited program
- Active, current LISW license in Iowa
- Professional experience in clinical mental health or behavioral health settings
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practice
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team

Compensation
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year. Full-time position with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.
