ROSS Grant Coordinator

The Housing Authority of Kansas City is hiring a full-time ROSS Grant Coordinator in Westwood Hills, Johnson County, to empower residents and strengthen the communities we serve.

About the Role

As the ROSS Grant Coordinator, you will sit within the Resident Services department and report directly to the Director of Resident Services. This is an exempt, full-time, on-site position based in Westwood Hills, Johnson County. Your central mission is to connect Housing Authority of Kansas City residents with the resources, programs, and support systems they need to advance their social and economic well-being through the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) grant program.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with residents to understand their needs and link them to appropriate services and opportunities.
• Coordinate comprehensive, well-organized service delivery across the ROSS grant program.
• Build and maintain working relationships with resident organizations and community service providers.
• Help residents pursue personal goals that contribute to their long-term self-sufficiency and success.
• Support program tracking and reporting to keep ROSS grant activities aligned with their intended outcomes.

Qualifications

• Genuine commitment to improving the social and economic well-being of public housing residents.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills for working with residents, community groups, and service partners.
• Ability to coordinate multiple services and programs in an organized, resident-focused way.
• Comfortable working on-site in Westwood Hills, Johnson County, in an exempt, full-time capacity.
