About the Role
As a PCU Registered Nurse at Landmark Hospital-Joplin, you'll provide compassionate care to intermediate-level medical-surgical patients in a collaborative clinical environment. What You'll Do
- Perform direct patient assessment and deliver nursing care according to evidence-based standards
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic status, and patient clinical progression
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Document comprehensive patient care activities and clinical observations in medical records
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, comfort, and quality care
What We're Looking For
- Current, active RN license in Missouri or valid nursing compact reciprocal license
- A minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in hospital or acute care environments
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in medical-surgical or progressive care nursing
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting
- Commitment to professional nursing standards and patient safety excellence
