About This Position

This full-time Retail Associate position at Colcare in Sheridan, Colorado reports to the Store Manager and Lead Retail Associates and centers on educating patients about cannabis options while delivering care that reflects empathy, compassion, and professionalism. Success means always advancing the company vision, mission, and values so that every customer receives the medicinal product best matched to their needs. Team members work side by side with dispensary leadership, earn $18.00 per hour plus benefits, and follow a full-time schedule that includes weekends. The role carries zero travel requirements and is classified non-exempt. Physical demands include extended standing, walking or sitting, manual hand tasks, lifting or moving up to 10 pounds (more with assistance), and clear verbal exchanges with co-workers, customers, and vendors in a moderately noisy setting. Your Responsibilities

• Complete, file, and accurately enter all intake forms and related paperwork into company databases for ongoing reference
• Verify patient purchase limits before allowing entry to consultation and dispensary spaces
• Foster exceptional customer care by cultivating and sustaining positive client relationships
• Address phone and email inquiries seeking product details, training, or general information
• Oversee patient records using both state and company database systems
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to those databases
• Process and fulfill customer orders efficiently
• Drive sales and promotion across the full product range
• Cultivate lasting integrity and trust around individual products

Who We're Looking For

• One to three years of retail experience that includes point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office programs
• Genuine enthusiasm for every facet of retail operations, compliance routines, and inventory oversight
• Strong consulting abilities that support effective patient conversations
• Outstanding interpersonal strengths, especially active listening
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Careful attention to detail and consistent adherence to established instructions
• Proven capacity to organize tasks and set clear priorities
• Possession of a valid MED badge
