About the Role

As Host/Hostess at our restaurant in the Beaufort Hotel, you're the foundation of every guest's visit. This part-time position places you at the center of our Food & Beverage operations, where your warmth and professionalism directly shape how guests remember their time with us.

What You'll Do

• Greet arriving guests with genuine warmth and manage the dining room flow throughout service
• Oversee the host stand, answer phone inquiries, and manage reservations and wait lists
• Seat guests thoughtfully, balancing table assignments with server workload and guest preferences
• Answer questions about our menu, specials, wait times, and restaurant policies with confidence
• Coordinate seamlessly with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
• Keep the host area and dining room entrance clean, organized, and inviting
• Support our team culture and contribute to consistently strong guest satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Genuine interpersonal warmth and the ability to make guests feel valued
• Clear communication skills and a polished, professional presence
• Composure and friendliness during peak service periods and high-volume situations
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in managing reservations and guest information
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience strongly preferred
